I am a graduate student in Clinical Mental Health Counseling at the University of North Georgia, currently completing my internship with StorieBrook. I enjoy helping people navigate identity questions, life transitions, role changes, and the uncertainty that can come with new chapters.
Whether you’re exploring who you are, adjusting to a relationship or career shift, or trying to create a life that feels authentic to you, therapy can be a space for support, clarity, and growth.
I’m especially passionate about working with clients who are establishing paths outside societal expectations. This includes people of diverse sexualities and gender identities, people in ethically non-monogamous or alternative relationship structures, and anyone whose career or personal path may not fit conventional norms. I am sex-positive and sex work affirming, and I strive to offer a respectful, validating, and judgment-free space where you do not have to explain or defend your choices in order to be supported.
Before entering counseling, I worked in a variety of different fields, which gives me an appreciation for the many ways people build meaningful lives and careers. There is no one “right” path, and I value helping clients define success and fulfillment on their own terms.
My therapy approach is grounded in existential counseling, which means I help clients explore questions of meaning, identity, freedom, responsibility, and how to live in alignment with their values. I also draw from Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), which can help you respond differently to difficult thoughts and emotions while moving toward what matters most, and Narrative Therapy, which helps you look at the stories you’ve been carrying about yourself and decide whether they still fit.
Outside of counseling, I’m an artist who enjoys walking with my two cats, playing board games and card games, and traveling to Southern California whenever I get the opportunity.

Our practicum students focus on providing low-cost therapy, and so are not in-network for any insurance providers. This means they cannot bill your insurance company directly for your sessions, however they often provide services at a similar rate to insurance co-pays. Like all of our providers, our practicum students can provide a receipt (often referred to as a "superbill") for any services. These receipts contain all the details you need to request reimbursement for OUT-of-NETWORK costs from your insurance provider.
If you are engaging with us for services for which we cannot bill insurance, or with a provider who cannot bill your insurance), this is the best way to work with your insurance company to get this covered.
Because of our small size and billing arrangements with Headway, StorieBrook CANNOT bill insurance for:
Assessments (including pre-surgical, gender affirming care, neurotype, or any other time limited services
Support groups (or any other non-therapy services)
Relationship therapy or counseling
