At StorieBrook, therapy is a collaborative process. We do not believe in pathologizing identities, bodies, or relationships. Instead, we work alongside you to understand your experiences in context — recognizing the impact of systems, culture, and lived history on mental health.
Our clinicians integrate evidence-based practices with cultural humility, consent-centered care, and a deep respect for client autonomy. We are committed to affirming sexual, gender, and relational diversity; neurodiverse ways of thinking and being; body diversity; and disability experiences. Therapy here is not about “fixing” who you are — it is about increasing clarity, capacity, connection, and choice.
Each clinician at StorieBrook brings their own training, neurodiversities, interests, and clinical strengths into the work. While we share core values, no two therapists practice in exactly the same way. You can learn more about each clinician on our Team page, and we are happy to help you work through finding the best fit. Finding the right therapeutic match can take time, and we are committed to working with you to identify a clinician who feels aligned with your needs.
We believe healing happens in relationship. That means building trust, honoring boundaries, welcoming feedback, and adjusting our work together as your needs evolve. Your voice matters in this space.
