Danyelle, originally from Texas, has lived in multiple U.S. locations and briefly in Europe before settling in Georgia. With experience across various career fields, she ultimately found that her values and interests aligned most strongly with mental health. After earning her Master of Social Work from the University of Georgia in 2023, she joined Storiebrook, eager to continue learning and to support others in achieving mental health well-being.
*Danyelle is under the Direction and Supervision of Rachel Anne Kieran, PsyD and Sander T. Jones, LCSW consistent with GA Rule 135.
...focused on humanist/person-centered and strength-based practices. These philosophies resonate with my own philosophies and I have combined my education, training, and natural empathy for others into an informed approach to my client’s therapeutic needs. I strive to provide a space where my clients can be their authentic selves without judgement and to collaborate with them to find the tools to help them achieve the goals they set while in therapy.
I work with a broad range of needs including help with depression, anxiety, relationship concerns, body image/self-esteem, stress management, etc. by integrating different methods and skills to meet the individual needs of my clients. My special area of interest is to provide strong support for the members of the LGBTQIA+, Kink, Polyamorous, and Ethically Non-Monogamous communities. As a member of these communities, I've come to understand the tremendous need for mental healthcare that embraces the dynamics and identities within these communities. Through my interactions within these communities and my education, I have gained insight into sexual and gender-identity issues, hoping to help individuals who identify as members of these groups with their unique challenges.
When I am not therapist-ing, I am spending time with loved ones, reading, watching my favorite shows/movies, and wrangling my two cats.
Danyelle is currently not in-network for any insurance providers, which means that she cannot bill your insurance company directly for your sessions. However, like all of our providers, Charlotte can provide a receipt (often referred to as a "superbill") for private pay services. These receipts contain all the details you need to request reimbursement for OUT-of-NETWORK costs from your insurance provider.
If you are engaging with us for services for which we cannot bill insurance, or with a provider who cannot bill your insurance), this is the best way to work with your insurance company to get this covered.
Because of our small size and billing arrangements with Headway, StorieBrook CANNOT bill insurance for:
Assessments (including pre-surgical, gender affirming care, neurotype, or any other time limited services
Support groups (or any other non-therapy services)
Relationship therapy or counseling
