StorieBrook operates as a mission-driven practice. Clinicians are paid fairly, and remaining funds are reinvested into training, supervision, and expanding access — not distributed as excess profit. Full-fee sessions support sliding scale access, and sliding scale helps sustain our low cost program. Together, this creates a community model of care built on shared responsibility and long-term sustainability.
Our sliding scale is a collaborative, client-led model that adjusts fees based on what feels sustainable for you. Every clinician holds a limited number of reduced-fee spots, made possible by clients who pay full fee. Some sliding scale sessions represent a small loss to the practice, but this model allows us to expand access while maintaining stability. If you have some financial flexibility but need adjustment, this is likely the right fit.
Our Low Cost Therapy Program is designed for those with the fewest financial resources. These sessions are provided by graduate trainees under licensed supervision and are made possible through donated supervision time, training, and organizational resources. There is no outside funding for this program, so availability is limited and may include a waitlist. This option is intended for those who would otherwise not be able to access therapy at all.
Individual therapy is a space centered on you — your identities, your experiences, your relationships, and the systems that shape your life. We specialize in working with sexual, gender, and relational diversity, while recognizing that these identities intersect with race, neurodiversity, ability, spirituality, body size, and more.
Our approach is collaborative and culturally humble. We don’t assume; we listen. Together, we explore what healing, growth, and meaning look like in your context, at your pace
Relationships are complex — and every relationship structure deserves care that understands and respects it. We work with couples, partners, polycules, chosen family systems, co-parents, and other relational constellations.
Whether you are navigating communication challenges, life transitions, intimacy concerns, conflict, or identity shifts, we approach relationship therapy without defaulting to narrow or prescriptive models. Our goal is to help you build connection, clarity, and agreements that reflect your shared values.
Groups offer something powerful: the opportunity to heal in community. Our groups are thoughtfully facilitated spaces designed to reduce isolation, foster belonging, and support growth alongside others with shared experiences.
We offer therapy groups and community-based support spaces that reflect our areas of specialization, including sexual, gender, relational, neurodiverse, and body-liberation affirming care. Each group has clear guidelines to create safety, respect, and meaningful dialogue.
Care doesn’t only happen in session. Our resource library includes organizations, educational materials, and community connections we trust and often recommend.
While we cannot guarantee that every resource is fully up to date, we share them in the spirit of helping you access affirming information and support beyond our practice
