…right here with you. My primary goal in therapy is to build an authentic therapeutic relationship with you. This relationship is grounded in curiosity, safety, and sincere desire to support you in your mental health journey. From this space, we can explore the areas and concerns bringing you to therapy. I love using emotion to help uncover new aspects of experiences. Often we come to therapy puzzled, lost, or without direction. My hope is that in our work together the pieces will slowly come together and, in time, you’ll find new direction and hope in life.
I enjoy working with individuals struggling to find or establish their place in the world. Whether that be working to integrate parts of their identity, exploring new identities, navigating loss, or processing trauma. I love supporting clients in finding their own unique balance in life. While this translates to any period or population, I have a special interest in rural populations, veterans, trauma, LGBTQ+, college transitioning and family-related challenges.
…doing many mundanely beautiful daily tasks, traveling to see extended family, wrestling with my pup, playing peek-a-boo, or brainstorming the next vacation/road trip. I also spend time looking forward to my doctoral student check list shortening and having free weekends again!
